Papallacta

This past Friday, we went to Papallacta which is this hot springs park about two hours away from Quito. It was the best fieldtrip yet. Seriously, if the fieldtrips keep getting better (which they have so far) then I´m going to love Mindo. Anyway, first, Angel took us on a nature walk for a while. It was so beautiful. Then, we went to this water park that wasn´t really a water park. It was just this place with a bunch of pools. The pools were natural hot springs and we were able to go swimming. It was so fun. I haven´t been swimming in the longest time and it felt so nice. I really didn´t want to leave. I used to want to have my honeymoon in Hawaii but now, Hawaii wouldn´t even come close to Papallacta. While we were there, we met these guys from London who all quit their jobs to travel the world for a year. I thought that was crazy that they could just put their lives on hold for a year and see the world. I would love to do that but at the same time, I don´t think that I can just forget everything else. But they were all really nice. Overall, I had a blast. I really hope that sometime in my lifetime, I can go back.

Ooh, hot springs! Sounds like a fun day. I'm glad you're getting a chance to experience Peru in all it's glory.
