I just thought I would share a few photos of what has been happening here. The first one happened a while ago but it was just too funny. Last semester, my friend David let us borrow his stuffed fish that he got from D.I. for the ward Halloween party (Kelly was going as a fisherman.) After the party, we gave the fish back one night and somehow, miraculously, by the time we got home, it was hanging on our kitchen wall. So in February, Kelly and I had this brilliant idea to freeze the fish in a block of ice and leave it on David's doorstep. After many attempts to freeze the fish (it took about a week of sitting outside our front door), we woke up early on a Saturday (ok so it was about 9 but hey, that's early for two sleep deprived college students) and executed our plan. It worked brilliantly and within five minutes or so, the block of ice froze to his doorstep.
Earlier tonight, my roommate Kelly was baking and she accidentally tipped a bowl onto a hot burner and burnt the bottom clear through. Sadly, I think this type of occurrence happens a little too often with us....
